We had a fabulous time enjoying the room's partial ocean view and the complimentary binoculars to watch otters in the kelp! The spa offered amazing treatments like body scrubs and massages that helped us unwind after a long day. One small hiccup was that the wrong luggage was brought to our room, but it didn't ruin our stay-definitely grab the tickets for the aquarium from the hotel to avoid lines 🌊

The queen room with the terrace and Double beds plus tubs. Wonderful breakfast with spectacular views of the bay for every taste. Magnificent, gorgeous location right by otters playing in the kelp beds as well as aquarium.

The rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the ocean was a highlight. Check the rules about the spa before planning your time there.

The room was updated and wonderfully appointed with views, I had a good rest. There were coffee/tea making equipment and glassware upon arrival. Its location just a short stroll away from Monterey Bay was stunning and particularly good.

The harbor view room offered fine sights of sea otters and the bay, complemented by a spacious and clean layout. The binoculars provided were a lovely touch. Navigating the hotel was a bit tricky, and nocturnal disturbances from a neighboring pet added some frustration. Lastly, the toiletries were of disappointing quality, which detracted from the overall luxury feel of the stay.

Extremely friendly staff. Loved the location right on the water with the waves slapping against the building at night. Friday night entertainment on the deck was great. Duck Grill - outstanding dinner and value. Rooms were alitlle on expensive side but plenty big enough to suit our needs. I would have liked to have been able to use the fitness facilities at no charge. I would definitely return to the Monterey Plaza

Gorgeous setting for a lovely hotel. Fanastic dining room with great views and wonderful food. Service in the lounge for pre dinner drinks was slow, although the atmosphere was excellent!

My wife says that the room could have used some soundproofing against street noise, especially with little ones around. It made falling asleep a bit of a challenge.

We absolutely loved the room (we had a sea view ) and an amazingly comfortable bed!! We awoke to the sound of the seals and it was such a relaxing quiet location. We would not hesitate to stay again!! We did not eat in the restaurants as walked out in the evenings and were only staying for 2 nights on our driving tour. Great place to visit Big Sur,pebble beach and carmel a definite must.

Amazing ocean views and attentive staff!
Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful, contributing to a luxurious experience. The valet service was convenient, and it felt great to have my car ready when I needed it. One downside was the limited gym facilities, which could use some improvement.
